One active participant, we’re measuring his progress since the last training module:
Participant:
‘I’ve also applied some things with my kids. For example, I listen much more instead of judging when they report about something they did wrong at school.’
Facilitator:
‘Can I make a small bet with you? Can I bet you for this candy lying here in front of the table?’
Participant:
‘Sure.’
Facilitator :
‘By you listening more to your kids when they did something, do they show more self-corrective behaviour?’
Participant:
‘O yes, absolutely. By me just listening more to them when they talk about their experiences, they tell me more often things like: ‘This is what I should have done.’ Or: ‘This is what I will be doing next time.’
